Natural Fiber Processing Mill in Sunnyside, Washington
Located in the sunny Yakima Valley of Central Washington, Spring Harvest Fiber Mill is family-owned and operated. We specialize in processing of Suri and Huacaya alpaca fiber.
We are accepting any amount of fiber (no weight minimums) for Roving, Rug Yarn, Batting, and Rug orders.
New Yarn Customers: Please contact us prior to delivery of your fiber to ensure we have room in our production schedule. Yarn orders must be at least 25 pounds. This minimum does not include non-yarn orders, such as roving, batting, core/rug yarn, and rugs.
Established Yarn Customers: Due to the high demand for our yarn services and our desire to have your order processed in a timely manner, we have established new policies for minimum yarn batch orders and delivery requirements:
Yarn orders must be at least 25 pounds and delivered all at one time. As always, we will keep each fleece separated by name if desired, however the total yarn delivery and yarn batch invoice must be at least 25 lbs. This minimum does not include non-yarn orders, such as roving, batting, core/rug yarn, and rugs.
In addition, we have added a new production schedule to help us predict the month that we will be processing your fiber. To ensure that we have your yarn batch in the schedule, contact us with approximately how many pounds of fiber you will be processing.
To submit fiber for processing, please download our fiber submission form at right. One form must be submitted for each batch of fiber
Payment: Half down is due prior to processing; remainder due prior to delivery of finished product.
To respect our customers' privacy, neither the public nor mill customers are permitted to enter the mill production area unless participating in a mill tour. All tours must be scheduled in advance. If you would like to take a mill tour during a scheduled fiber drop off day, please contact us in advance.
Education is also a priority of the Mill. We offer classes through the year and welcome inquiries about all things fiber and processing. See our Events Page and Watch our Facebook page for upcoming classes.
